It's that time of week again...
Yes, it’s Sunday, and once again, youtube is sleeping. The only videos today were a very short Shaytards, done by Katilette, because Shay was out at the office, which is good news because we have an epic station video coming up, and a video from Buck quickly telling us he’ll be on blog TV… he has now been on blog TV. I went and watched, and had a quick chat with him which was cool :D Out of the 1,000 people who watched, I was one of the few that got to talk to him. So yeah, Station video’s gonna be good. They just spent about $850 on stuff for the next episode, and Shay was out with the crew for over 12 hours today, so looks like it could be a big one. It’s to do with zombies. I dunno if it’s a sequel to their first video or if it’s entirely seperate, but we on youtube have high hopes, which may well be crushed… but nothing wrong with a little hope! I intend to make a video tomorrow, but can’t think what to talk about at the moment. I might just piss about with the video editing software which I only have a few more days of, and I’ll need to find something new soon. Wow, my didgits are moving at 100 miles per hour at the moment, I’m typing like lightning… anyway, seeing as youtube’s being gay and I was expecting at least SOMETHING worth blogging, I haven’t prepared anything in advance, so I’m just gonna take you through what I’ve been up to today… sorry :3 I dunno, some of you like it, so… eh. Well, had a lie in after staying up until about 1am last night, then came down here, sorted out my restaurant in Restaurant City on facebook :P A lot of changes have been brought to the application, and it’s a lot better now than it was before. I played a little bit of poker, won about 600k today, bought in with 400k and left with over 1mil. I played some Far Cry 2 on the xbox, of course, then went out to play some snooker. Just a short 3 frame session, which went to three frames. I started well in the first frame - Red, Black, Red, Pink, Red… oops… as I lined up for an easy pink which could have lead on to a pretty big break, I accidently nudged the white ball with my cue, so that was a foul :S It was a close frame, and after a great long pot on the blue, the white ball, which I’d stuck shit loads of top-spin on, went ape. I’d tried to put as much top spin as I could on, thinking I wouldn’t be able to get enough to bring the white ball back up the table, and I ended up hitting it too well and sending the white ball into the middle pocket >__> I just think she’s done the best she’ll do, and it’s not enough, and Ricky’s got a bit more potential and hasn’t had a chance to show it yet… and now he never will. Oh well, 11th place is still respectable… ok, out of 12 it’s a bit lame, but out of the thousands that applied, it’s pretty good, even if he did only get in out of pity having auditioned for the third time :) It just goes to show, you should never give up, because if you keep trying you’ll piss people off enough to make them give you what you want… but don’t try it for sex, probably won’t help then. Then I played some Far Cry 2. I’m just gonna go off on one for a second. I may even have to review this game at one point. I love it. I hated it at first, because I didn’t think it’d be my kind of game. Sometimes you need to be a bit patient, because you might get given a quest on one side of the map that requires you to move all the way across to the other side of the map, but it’s an adventure, and it’s always interesting. That’s not the only thing that makes the game last so long. There are so many different options and choices throughout the game, and so much to be done. one of the achievements is to find all 221 diamond suit cases… I think I have 146 now. And there are 32 main missions, and 40 side missions, which is pretty good going. I’m gonna try and do all of the side missions, find all the collectables, and then go on to do the main missions. I’m getting there :) The story line’s pretty gripping too, and I’m certain there are twists and turns to come. The one thing I do dislike however, is the voice acting. Actually, it’s not so much that, but it’s the way they put the voice clips together with no punctuation. It’s funny, but hard to follow what’s been said. Oh yeah, and today, I walked past a wilder beast at the gun shop and spooker it. There was a stationary car right behind it… which it turned arund and ran into to… after hitting the car it just fell over and died XD It’s quite a glitchy game too. I get the feeling that the finishing touches were put on it in a reall hurry, like the voices, and smaller details of the game. But it is awesome… very mucb recommended, it’s on PC, 360 and PS3. Anyways, I’m gonna go get my beauty sleep… not that I need it now that I’m clean-shaven. Goodnight, boys, girls, and blog readers :)
