Nada, Nought, Zilcho, Zero, you get the picture. There isn’t a single video from my subscriptions today except shaytards. Obviously, we’ll have videos tomorrow, but today is very quiet. I don’t really have much to talk about either. All I’ve really done today is play Far Cry 2, on which I finally got all 221/221 diamond cases in the game. Still got between 8 and 10 side missions to do, and then I can just focus on the story line missions. I don’t wanna spend too long one today’s blog, because it’s 10:40, and if I go to bed soon I might actually be able to get up in the morning. Double further maths first (y). Then more maths later :P
AH! God bless you, twitter. I’m following Philip DeFranco on twitter, and I just got a tweet saying his video for today’s almost up. I swear he’s gone mad… this is his 3rd video in the 3 days. Good stuff, Phil. I guess I’ll wait for it, slap it on here, then go sleepings.
Just looking at some of my youtube stats. My new channel has been up for 31 days, so a month now. I’ve uploaded 7 videos, which right now is more than a video every 5 days. I’ve had 135 channel views. *channel views, not video views. I’ve watched 981 videos, which is more than 31 a day o.o Don’t worry, that just means I’ve clicked on 31 videos a day, haven’t watched them all, but it’s still a lot. I now have 19 subscribers. My videos now have a collective 490 views. I just calculated, the average rating submitted on any of my vlogs is 4.84, which I think’s pretty good.
Here’s some of my demographics, but I doubt they’re right. Apparently, 62% of my audience are femaile. about 70% are aged 45-54, and only 20% are aged 13-17. I think that’s bollocks. Probably people who lied about their age. Also, about 7% aged 65+… that’s gotta be wrong.
It’s now 11 and Phil’s video isn’t up… I really don’t wanna go to bed too late :S If it isn’t up soon, it’ll have to wait until tomorrow… so… passing the time… how about another check up on our top youtubers! We’ll just look through the top 50.
#49 is iJustine with over 240k subs now, most likely all to wait for her next video so they can call her a whore and stuff.
#48 is Shay Carl, with 245k… suprising seeing as he never posts on there.
#47, only 1,000 subs ahead of Shay, is Ray! He’s moving up the charts :D
#39 is Lisa Nova. She doesn’t make many videos aymore now that she’s running the station, but still has a cool 276k subs.
#37 is Jon Lajoie! Also moving up. He now has 285k
#35 is The Lonely Island with 395k. I would say I expected them to be higher, but Youtube isn’t really tip of their priorities, and 35th is pretty high, beaten a lot of top youtubers.
#15 is now The Station! It’s moving up fast, now with a pretty neat 475k subs.
#14, with 296k subs, almost at the half a mil mark, is ShaneDawsonTV2. Very impressive for a second channel
#12 is Buck! He’s moved down a bit, but 594k subs is still very impressive, as is 12th.
#10 is Dave Days! He’s also moved down a lot, but a musician like Dave doesn’t really stand a chance against vloggers and comedians. He’s not top musician wither…
#9 is Jonas Brothers… eugh… 612k… they’re actually only 87 subs ahead of Dave, which is a tiny margin.
#8, Machinima, once up in the top 3, but youtube celebs have taken over,.
#7 is KevJumba. He has 687k subs, only 600 ahead of Machinima. I’ve never watched one of his videos, but I will sometimes… he’s popular.
#6 is our man, PhillyD with the Philip DeFranco show. Again, only 900 ahead of KevJumba, but 6th is his highest ranking yet.
#5 is a big jump up to 840k subs, and it’s Shane Dawson. He’s moced up rediculously fast, and although the figures say otherwise, is clearly the main man on youtube… hence his Mr Youtube award.
#4 is universalmusic group, now with 993k subs, soon to hit 1mil. Incase you don’t know, they get a lot of music videos out from leading artists, so they’re bound to be popular. I was tempted to subscribe myself, then realised I’d get a lot of subscription notices for crappy R&B music and stuff… and they have 10,239 videos by the way… you’d get swaped with videos every day.
#3 is the ex-#1’s, Smosh, now with 1,112,932 subscribers. As the months pass by, we could easily see them overtaken by UMG and Shane, leaving them down in 5, which is of course still very respectable. They just don’t make enough videos.
#2 is the one, and only… wait that’s not right… #2 is Fred. Of course, there’s more than one Fred… but yeah, Lucas now has 1,443,091 subs.
#1 however, Nigahiga, is really pulling away at the top now, with an awesome 1,568,453 subscribers… wowee… I expect he’ll be there for a very very long time.
Anyway, that was fun… TIME TO CHECK FOR THAT VIDEO… geez, that killed 15 minutes… NOPE, still not up. Because I love you guys so much I’ll wait a few more minutes, then go sleepings. Gonna go pee, then grab a snack… yes, don’t worry, I’ll wash my hands.
